Life Horse Inc, is a non-profit organization that has found it's home at Breezy Hill Stables in Thurmont, Md. The program was founded in 1996 to offer riding to terminally ill children. It continued to grow over the years to not only assisting terminally ill children but to groups of all ages who face a variety of needs. Our motto is " that anyone who's affected by loss or illness is welcome to ride here."
The program is free of charge for church groups, special needs groups, at risk children, etc. It is completely funded by donations and all work is performed by volunteers.
In addition, Life Horse Inc, offers rescue, rehabilitation, and placement or sanctuary for at risk equines while fostering a therapeutic animal and human relationship.
